Halfway there!

I don't know how I am already halfway through this pregnancy but I am! I'm feeling great! Been pretty emotional lately but other then that great! Tomorrow is our 20 week ultrasound and I am super pumped to be able to see our little man for an extended amount of time!! We moved the guest bed out of the guest room and it officially became the new nursery! We picked out the paint color and will have it painted in a few weeks =)

Big boy room!

We moved you to your big boy room last week!! You are doing SO well! Way better then we could have imagined! We ( mostly mom) were so nervous! We have always rocked you to sleep with milk but lately with you getting so big and my bump getting bigger it has been getting progressively hard. You had been sleeping awful which now we know is because you were just not comfortable in your crib. It was taking up to an hour to get you to sleep at night and you were waking in the middle of the night a few times a week and it would take 2-3 hours to rock you back to sleep ( noooo way!) mommy and daddy were getting very tired! We figured it was going to happen soon anyway since your little brother or sister is going to need your crib soon. Originally we had planned to wait until you tried climbing out of your crib but you never have! Anyway we went shopping for your bed and found the perfect one on sale at pottery barn kids and (duh) planned your room theme around trains! We had NO idea how it was going to go switching from crib to bed and from rocking no not rocking all at the same time, AND cold turkey! We decided a slow process would not be good with how old you are. You are VERY smart and we just knew you would use your cuteness to manipulate us into giving in! Night 1 was obviously very very rough. Mommy lost it halfway through but thankfully the whole "sleep training" process only took about 45 minutes and you were sound asleep! Your new routine is 2 books and 3 songs! Mommy puts you down for nap and daddy puts you to sleep at nighttime. We sing you Thomas the train, Winnie the Pooh, and the eyes of Texas. All your favorite songs that happen to be short so it works perfect! We thought night 2 would be way harder but it went PERFECT. You ran straight to your room to pick your books when we said bedtime and rolled over and went right to sleep. Since then we have not had any tears and actually have to wake you up from your naps. You are sleeping late in the mornings and don't wake up at night! All 3 of us have never had so much sleep =) you are such a big boy and we are so proud of you! Here are some pictures of your new big boy room which you are in love with!!

This was the first time you saw and climbed on your bed ( think you love it?!)

Taking your first nap in your bed (which we had to wake you up from after 3 1/2 hours!)

Playing with daddy in the morning =)

16 weeks

Not much as far as updates! Other then being super tired cause I'm pregnant and have a toddler this pregnancy had been a  breeze so far! No nausea at all anymore, no back pains or anything! I still have not gained any weight ( I have no idea how) I'm hungry ALL the time and have a ton of cravings just like I did with Nathan. Although I feel like I craved more sweets and fruit with him and this time it's a lot of salty things. It's awful because it's all fast food which is making us broker then we already are! I started feeling movement at 15 1/2 weeks and I love it! I can't wait to see it and be able to feel it on the outside so Jonathan and Nathan can see also! We find out the gender TOMORROW but are having the sono tech put it in an envelope so we can find out with our family next weekend in San Antonio. Kimbee is planning a little party and I can't wait. =) Jonathan and I as well as everyone else is guessing girl but I would be equally excited for a brother for Nathan! Nathan started saying sissy on his own which literally gave me chills I have NO idea where he got that and it's going to be so cool if we find out it is a girl and he calls her that =)

21 months

21 months isn't a "milestone" but since I've been doing 3 month updates why not! We have seen the BIGGEST change in him lately! He is such a big boy! He is talking so much saying new words it seems like everyday and understands everything! He is so much better at communicating with us and has the best memory. (It's actually kind of scary the things he remembers!) grandpa Jordan and Sandra got him a trampoline and he loves it! He's learning how to jump and has the best time taking his trains on there with him. He loves being outside! We are working on colors but don't seem to be getting very far but animals are a different story! He's been learning from a sippy cup and one of his puzzles. He can recognize dog, lion, zebra, cow, monkey, giraffe, crocodile and bird and knows the sounds for dog, bird, lion, snake and monkey!! He is climbing on everything( so scary!) we got him his big boy bed recently! Haven't transitioned him yet but probably will here next week (😭) he has all his teeth but his 2 year molars which he is getting now(awful!) sleep is much MUCH better but still have nights where we are up with him for 2 hours. Terrible twos are absolutely here and he frequents time out more and more! (Somehow this was SO easy!) he will sit there and not move and actually understand why he is there! He is doing so well at the little gym and has made so many friends! It was seriously the best thing we could have done joining as we have met some of the best people! He loves his play dates! He is doing great with names! He recognizes people's pictures and will point to them and say their names! He still is not saying grandma which she is NOT happy about! He calls her "badoo" or "Babadoo" what the heck?! But he's consistent with it so it might just stick! Grandpa turned into "papa" which i think is so cute!! I love when he sees things on TV or in public and wants to tell us about it like tonight he was watching Thomas (cause duh) and there was a cow on the screen and he started saying " dada! Dada! Mooioooo!!" It was so adorable! He also loves to tell us stories about when he falls or gets a boo boo and is so animated about it he always wants us to kiss it and then he is fine! Sweet boy we love you so so so much!

Announcing baby 2.0!

With Nathan I was DYING to tell the world but for some reason this time around I just wanted to keep it in for as long as possible! For people in Fort Worth it was pretty obvious because I get my bumps SO early! But as far as family and friends in San Antonio nobody knew! We posted it to Facebook when I was a little over 12 weeks using this picture =)

I also love these that I also posted later in the day!

7 weeks

I finally have a tiny bump! Mostly covered by some fat but hey it's a bump! All these pictures I'm in pjs with little to no makeup which is looking like a trend because that's how I'm feeling! I have no energy and it is nearly impossible entertaining a crazy toddler while trying to keep your eyes open. This pregnancy is SO different then the last already! Morning sickness started today (7weeks) and it was ALL morning sickness I puked 4 times! I've also been cranky and nauseous all day for the last week and my appetite is gone! I'm finally not craving soda and actually am craving water! Although i do still love the little boost of energy the soda gives me. That's all the update I have for now cause it is NAP time! The dishes will have to wait =)
