First Time

 first giggles and first time rolling over! both happened the week before he turned 3 months =)

3 months

Nathan is already 3 months and it makes me want to cry! He is already such a big boy and I wish time would just slow down or even stop =( he already has such a personality and it is so fun waiting to see what he will do next. He loves shoving his hands in his mouth ( we think he may be teething due to the gallons of drool each day) he is almost sitting up by himself and is now sleeping 9-11 hours each night! We actually just started to put him to bed in his crib =( hard night on mommy for sure! His new obsession is TV! I know I know bad mom but what are you gonna do! We literally have to turn off the tv sometimes to get him to play with us! His favorite is Barney. He will sit and watch Barney for the longest time and will even talk to the tv. He got so many toys for Christmas but really isn't much interested yet. He prefers to just play and talk with us. I've been really working with teethers and rattles. I want him to start grabbing and playing with toys! He still loves bath time and still Hates tummy time, although the other day I put a mirror in front of him during tummy time and he smiled and talked to himself! So sweet. He has also started giggling a little bit! We've heard it a few times and can't wait until it's an everyday thing.

So today is the 21st and I'm updating this post again because he just started rolling over!!! Big boy!

Love my little almost 3 month old!! I went back to work part time last week (2 days a week) and can't BELIVE it's already been so long!

2 Months!

2 months

(We were in San Antonio for Christmas so didn't take his normal picture on the rocker but here is one taken at 2 months)

So late posting this but our little 2 month old has me running around like crazy! He is sitting up on his own, talking, smiling from ear to ear and teething! He always has his hands in his mouth these days. Right at 2 months I stopped breast feeding. Turns out Nathan is allergic to dairy AND soy! Probably tons more that we haven't found out yet but he got sick and broke out all over. I tried to cut out diary from my diet which didn't clear everything up completely so we decided to just quit nursing completely and go to formula. Poor thing has to drink allergenic nasty formula which he HATES but is getting used to it. Speaking of what he hates, tummy time! He can not stand tummy time it is hilarious. He also hates laying down he is always trying to pick his head up to see the world! He also hates being outside he grunts and shrunches his face. He loves standing and sitting up, bright colors and lights and his light up play mat. He sits there for the longest time smiling and talking to it. He still loves bath time and is still sleeping like a champ! usually between 6 and 7 hours. Still not ready to move him to his own room yet. He is back in the basinet in the corner of our room. His favorite time of the day is the morning. I LOVE LOVE LOVE his face and smile right when he wakes up for the first time. He is so happy and ready to take on the day! . At nathans 2 month appointment he was 15 lbs 7 ounces and 26 inches! The size of a 5 month old! He is in the 95 percentile on weight, height, and head =)
