Trimesters!

First day of my 1st, 2nd,and 3rd trimester! INSANE!

27 weeks!

Oh HI 3rd trimester!......
You came out of nowhere and hit me like a ton of bricks! Gone are the days of being "comfortable" and hello to backache, sleepiness, and weight gain!
The first sign was his INTENSE movements! We were watching Netflix about a week ago (what's new) and my entire belly started doing the wave and they I felt like he was trying to kick out my belly. Since then I feel him kicking ALLLLL day and I LOVE it! What I don't love is how he now likes to hang out on the top of my belly under my boobs and jam something somewhere that makes my belly button hurt. He also found some nerve somewhere that makes one spot of my belly completely numb 90% of the time. super weird. The other day he was hurting me so bad where he was sitting so Jonathan tried moving him down my belly and he was literally kicking Jonathan back! Jonathan would push him down and he could feel him pushing right back! Already so stubborn in there!
So we read in one of my weekly updates that at this point we might be able to hear his heartbeat from the outside! Jonathan tried and didn't hear his heart BUT he can hear him moving and swooshing around in there. That is pretty cool. At this point his lungs are developed and he has brain activity! Jonathan started reading him Greek Mythology(for kids) at night...Im thinking more on the lines of nursery rhyme books but oh well =)
Speaking of nursery, we are making major progress!!!! Our glider came in and we finally got the crib and dresser set up!! Im ordering his bedding this weekend and then will start with all the wall decorations =) I could not be more excited! The chair came back exactly what I was hoping for and looks awesome with the wall color.
The lighting is a little weird but you get the idea =)
Another pregnancy milestone  this week and I was SOOOO nervous! I have no idea why but I was so sure I would puke it up. I went on a weekend just in case I was sick after (im such a chicken) My plan was to go Saturday but after eating about half a tub of icing on Friday afternoon   I thought it best to go on Sunday =)
So I went Sunday morning and picked "fruit punch" flavor. It actually was not horrible! It basically tasted like really old kool aid with way to much sugar...
Speaking of sugar and the half a tub of icing...my newest addiction!! "adult dunkaroos!!" Holy cow is it good! (thanks Kristin!) Its basically teddy grahams and rainbow chip icing. I don't know how I didn't gain 10 lbs alone this week.

Weekly update and BUMP

How far along? 25 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +1 lb

Stretch marks? Not much but a little on the legs. I had a HORRIBLE dream that they were ALL OVER my body after watching one of the videos in our birthing class. Girlfriend had some SERIOUS stretch marks bless her heart.
Sleep: Getting a little rougher falling asleep and getting comfy. My backs been hurting a lot more so it makes it a little difficult to get comfy at night!
Best moment this week: Picking up our furniture and painting the nursery! We also started our registry this week.

Miss Anything? SODA! I am so back and forth about starting and stopping this. The birthing class instructor almost pooped herself when I told her I drink it on occasion. She is a doula (spell check?) and ALLLL about natural labor. (GIVE ME THE DRUGS)
Movement: and lots of it!

103 DAYS TO GO!

So obviously blogging is not my thing =)
SO much has happened since my last post. I am now 25 weeks! Getting so close to the 3rd trimester and I can most definitely tell! I am a lot more tired these days and my belly exploded! I finally gained all my weight back that I lost in the first trimester (BOO) but luckily I only have 15 weeks to gain weight instead of 40, which is a win in my book!! Today we are painting the nursery!!!!! SO exciting...well Jonathan is painting the nursery, I just got to tape =(

We ordered his furniture a few weeks ago and picked it up last weekend. My parents and sister came in town so we could use her truck to bring it back to the house. They also brought up our first GRILL! THANKS DADDY!!! Since we decided to buy a house I have been most excited about our backyard. The last few weeks we got me a POOL! (which is a pregnancy lifesaver I can tell you that much) We also got a patio set and our grill. I could not be happier!!

We also ordered the glider for the nursery which I am SO excited about! We got a custom one so we could pick the colors. We chose a very light grey for the nursery walls so we went with a dark grey/charcoal color for the glider with a white trim. I cant wait to see it! It should be in early August.
I am feeling our little man SO MUCH these days. It honestly is my favorite part of pregnancy by far. I love waking up and going to sleep because that is when he moves the most. It is also the coolest thing SEEING him move. I swear he does karate moves and cartwheels in there. The other night I think we might have actually seen him completely turn upside down. It was some serious alien action going on. SO WIERD. Sometimes you can even see the lump on my belly where is head or booty is...I got a picture the other night...
We had our 20 week sono which went great! My mom came up to see it. She was dying to see one so she was very excited! The doctor confirmed we were having a little boy =) He looks EXACTLY like Jonathan already which is so cool. I didn't think that we would be able to tell this early on.

This one is his little foot =)

We started baby classes last week! I wasn't sure if I was going to take them at first because originally when I thought Lamaze I thought they would only teach me how to breath....so stupid..if someone tries to tell me how to breath when I am in labor I will most likely kick them. But when I saw the brochure at my doctors office I was surprised when I saw how much they would teach us! Its a 4 week course 3 hours each week and was only $55 bucks! WIN. When the first day came I was so annoyed and didn't want to go because I had just worked the entire day and had to go STRAIGHT to the hospital for another 3 hours. I was thinking about not going but was SO glad we did. We already learned so much in just one class so I cant wait until Monday! What I am most excited about is going on the tour of the maternity ward at the hospital.
We learned a little about contractions on week one and I THINK I may have been feeling a few here lately. They are VERY small and not painful at all but it is definetly a tightening and loosening of my belly and when you push on my belly it feels really really hard! Not sure exactly but I like to the maybe my body is getting ready. We only have 103 DAYS TO GO!

Almost forgot! We started our registry this past week. To say it was stressful is an understatement....I don't know HOW people get so excited about it! I wont lie, after a few minutes it got a little better and was fun for a little bit but after about I don't know 45 min I was SO over it. My feet were KILLING me (oh yea, new symptom : swollen feet!) and I was hungry, tired, and ready to go! We are going to go back tomorrow and add some more things and hopefully have more fun =) It is just so overwhelming! SO MUCH to choose from, so many patterns, so expensive, and I mean how are we supposed to know what is the best?! At least we picked the major thinks like stroller and car seat!
