36 weeks!
IM 9 MONTHS PREGGO!!
Not much has changed other then my feet swelling to a ridiculous amount. They didn't hurt before, but now they do. Also my hands are swelling more. Its to the point where I wake up and they are swollen it doesn't even matter what I eat or drink. I have the pregnant waddle and run out of breath after walking 5 feet.
Here are some more recent swollen feet pics!
On the PLUS side, the nursery is 97% done! Jonathan and I went a few weeks ago and bought all the remaining items on our registry! This weekend we just need to pack our hospital bags =) I am at the point where my doctors visits are every week now....eeeeek! I had my first cervical check this past Wednesday. (O.U.C.H!!!) Although it hurt like heck it wasn't as bad as I actually thought and it was over before I knew it. Also she had GOOD news so I was to excited to be in pain. I was right at 36 weeks and she said the whole process was starting! Although I wasn't actually dialated yet (just a fingertip she said) my cervix was softened and the baby was already in position! She was able to feel his head! I was so excited and nervous at the same time. (Jonathan about had a heart attack when I told him) I am amazed on how great I am feeling! Don't get me wrong, its more difficult then the first 2 trimesters but for being 9 months pregnant I feel amazing! I can not be more excited to see his handsome little face!
I also started dropping a week or so ago! Here is a belly shot
Im at about 12 lbs gained I would say at this point. ehhh
Im thinking we are going to have a big baby! We had a tiny scare about 4 weeks ago where I was having some serious cramps. I wasn't sure if it was gas, or dehydration, or just how the baby was sitting. I waited about 4 days and then I had my doctor appointment. That week I was just meeting with the nurse practicioner. She said it didn't seem like anything was wrong but was worried the baby may have turned back to breech so she sent me for a sono just to be safe. Everything was great! Baby was healthy and moving. At 31 weeks he was already 4 lbs 5 ounces! That sounds big to me....we will see I guess!
Here is a baby foot sono from that day =)

I feel like such a weirdo for taking so many feet pictures but I think its pretty funny! What cracks me up is its always my right foot that's worse and I think its because of where he always lays!

Happy 25th to me!!!
We recently celebrated my 25th birthday on the 31st and for once I wasn't planning it months in advance! This year I really wanted to celebrate with just Jonathan. It's our last "holiday" as a family of 2! Normally I will have a couple of birthday dinners, something fun and go out drinking. But this year it wasn't until a week before that we were like hey, what are we gonna do next week?!
I woke up late and Jonathan made me red velvet pancakes then we went to a movie! We hadn't been to one in who knows how long and figured it would be a good while until we could go again. After the movie we did some shopping and decorated our house for fall and jad some red velvet cake! That evening was the first UT game which I would never let my hubby miss so we ordered a pizza and watched the game! On Sunday we went to my birthday lunch at hibachi my favorite! Here are some pictures of our last special occasion as a family of 2!
Swollen little piggies!
Cracks me up every time I see these! This little guy is so worth it tho!
34 weeks!!
Only 6 weeks to go! Soooo much has happened since my last post! Nursery is almost ready, I had both my baby showers, his bedding came in!! Can't wait to post pictures. Baby is starting to drop and I can absolutely feel it! So much pressure, I am way bigger, I can breathe a little better BUT I have to potty sooooo much more often! It is so worth it tho, it just means we are that much closer to meeting our little man! I also no longer have an innie, outie, OR flat belly button! its kind of hanging out between an outie and still flat. Although when the baby stretches out it turns into a full out outie! So weird! As far as symptoms go I have started swelling a lot more but it luckily doesn't always hurt. I also think I swell a little in the face too ( orrrrrr that could be weight gain... Up about 10 lbs now!) I have also started getting heartburn when I eat greasy foods. I get tired faster, but wake up early now! So not like me! The latest I sleep these days is about 10 or so ( at least I am getting semi prepared)
I am not craving anything anymore I think that was more of a first trimester thing. I have been still eating a lot of sweets and cereal. I will eat it for a snack or for a meal. I learned I'm starting to get the pregnant girl waddle... Super sexy....
I am finally starting to get a little nervous with the whole labor/ delivery process! At this point it really can happen at any time! I am very glad I decided to keep working through the end, I think it will make the time pass quicker and keep my mind off of being nervous! I'm just hoping my water won't break at work! Although all the walking I do will certainly help speed things along! I am so so so excited for tr next 6 weeks to come and go so we can meet our sweet little man and actually start calling him by his name!! =)
Here is a picture of me at 34 weeks!
