Cant believe ive officially had a baby longer then I was pregnant! I cant believe im already typing out his 9 month update when it seems like I just did his 8? This month has FLOWN by. So Nathan is now WALKING!!!!! WHAT?!?!?! He started on 7/22/14. He had been so brave the few days before (which has caused a TON of bumps/cuts/bruises etc.) He would lunge off of things like he knew what he was doing(he didnt) so the other night we just really started trying with him and he just got it! His Aunt Bee was in town and he walked straight to her the first time! He actually took 2 steps earlier this month which was crazy so we knew it would be soon! Another big milestone is he is NAPPING IN HIS CRIB!!!! No more swing for us! I have seriously been dreading having to transition him because the last time I tried I failed miserably but surprisingly enough it wasnt very hard! It was rough for a few days because he would wake up randomly and didnt have the movement of the swing to put him back to sleep so he would be up after just 30 min to an hour but after a few days of it he now just puts himself right back to sleep. YAY! I have also been planning his first birthday party (WAHHHH!!!!) I am super excited for it but it is coming so fast and I have so much to get done. It is going to be RACE CARS! This kid is obsessed with cars. Mostly steering wheels but his face just lights up when you put him on the motorized ones or my car steering wheel. I think its going to be so cute!
So Nathan now eats EVERYTHING we eat! He is such a great eater! He chews like a champ (probably cause he now has 6 teeth!) and loves everything we put in front of him. Not picky at all! Him eating more is finally helping him sleep through the night more (THANKKKKK GOODNESS) he still isnt doing it every night but ill take what I can get. He is so goofy and now snorts constantly! he scrunches up his nose and snorts over and over like a pig! His laugh is loud and contagious! He has a new fear of the garage and it is so sad! He still loves to read and is now in love with his ball pit. He gets into EVERYTHING and so quickly too. He can highfive and wave hello and goodbye is starting to learn what certain words mean! That we know of he knows mommy, daddy, dog, drink, and more! We had to switch his big boy carseat forward facing because he is to tall and his huge feet get squished! Speaking of huge feet he grew out of his baby shoes and we couldnt find a pair that fit him so we took him to stride rite to get properly fitted and turns out he is a size 5 extra wide! So he got his first pair of big boy shoes!
And this is his new "im whining for absolutely no reason so feel sorry for me" face!
