5 months

(poor little boy was sick and didnt much feel like smiling!)

We now have a 19lb big boy who sits up on his own! We can't even believe how big he is getting! He is still fitting into some of his 6 month clothes but also now wearing 9 month tops and bottoms. We scheduled his 6 month photo session/family pictures recently and I am so excited about them! He babbles all the time now and am hoping he says mama soon! He laughs so hard he chuckles and is so interested in faces(especially daddy's) he is obsessed with Jonathan's glasses! He wants literally everything he sees in his mouth (including everything we eat!) he sits like a big boy in shopping carts and high chairs at restraunts so finally not lugging around his heavy car seat! He went to his first birthday party this past weekend! He had so much fun he got sick for the first time =( he had his first high fever last night and has a cold. Poor sweet baby broke mommy and daddy's heart.

He is almost pulling himself up into a sitting position so this weekend we are going to lower his crib mattress this weekend =( where has my sweet tiny baby gone?! He learned how to properly use his jumparoo and it is his favorite thig to do everyday! He also loves his touch and feel book it is his favorite toy. He is going to get his first tooth in anyday now I'm surprised he hasn't yet! His finger is always always in his mouth chewing on his gums and we have to change his soaking wet bibs multiple times a day! He is loving frozen teethers he chews them for a bit and then just let's the cold sit on his gums while drool pools out of his mouth!

He is still sleeping through the night but had a growth Spert I'm assuming last week because he woke up every night at about 3am starrrrving. He would eat like he hasn't eaten in days. Luckily he is back now to sleeping about 10-11 hours a night. He is still having veggies every night before bed so that is helping fill him up a little better. So far we think he is only allergic to green beans. Maybe peas and bananas but we are going to try those one more time.

He had his first play date this month! He met baby Isaiah from our birthing classes we took at the hospital before he was born. He was born exactly a month before Nathan. He had a great time and can't wait to see him again!

Nathan is the happiest friendliest baby we know and we are loving all the sweet kisses he gives us now! All you have to do is ask and he soaks your face with sweet baby drool and it melts our hearts every time! Can't wait to see what this next month brings! Hopefully we will have a crawler with teeth soon!!

Carrots

We officially have a big boy eating big boy food! A few days after Nathans 4 month appointment we started carrots and HE LOVED THEM. Like im talking he couldnt get enough! He would grunt and laugh and try to eat the entire spoon when it was near his mouth. Here are some pictures =)
